This washed coffee comes from the Sidama Coffee Farmers’ Cooperative Union in southern Ethiopia. Its preparation focuses on preserving the clarity and character of the region’s coffee.
Ripe cherries are sorted by hand, then pulped, fermented and washed at the station. Established in 2001, the union represents a large community of smallholder farmers. The coffee is Fair Trade and organic certified.
