Bright acidity and layered fruit character define this washed coffee from Kainamui Factory in Kirinyaga County, Kenya. It is grown around 1,800m in the Ngariama region on the slopes of Mount Kenya.
Handpicked cherries are delivered to the wet mill, where the coffee is fermented in two stages, washed and soaked in clean water. Slow drying follows before the parchment coffee is rested ahead of milling.
