Pre-Ground Coffee

Our beans are roasted daily and a best kept whole until you are ready to brew.

Although we are more than happy to grind your beans for you we cannot accept responsibility for how they will preform though your espresso machine. Our grinder is made for grinding bulk coffee, quickly. It does not have the finesse of a calibrated micrometrical espresso or filter grinder.

We offer a wide range of options if you wish to purchase your coffee pre-ground. Espresso #2, #3, and Stovetop #4 are all fine espresso-style grinds. #2 is our finest espresso setting and is recommended for Rockets, Profitech, and other 'prosumer' machines. Please note that #2 may not extract properly in domestic machines from brands like Breville and Sunbeam. Therefore, proceed with caution and test it yourself before committing to a larger bag.

The Aeropress grind option sits on the finer side of filter grinds. If you prefer a coarser Aeropress grind, please select filter grind.

The filter grind option is a great starting point for anything from Chemex to V60 and Origami. Keep in mind that our commerical grinder is not suitable for filter-style grinding and is used with other coffees. For the best results, consider using a pour-over grinder such as the Fellow ODE or Varia VS3.

The plunger grind option is just slightly coarser then our filter grind.

In theory a grinder should be calibrated to best suit your specific machine and environment as every machine works slightly differently. The same grind that performs though one machine, may not preform though another. Of course we will do our best to grind to your requirements but can not guarantee it.

As a general rule in our flagship Cafe and Brew Bar, we avoiding using coffee that'd been ground more than 15 minutes before consumption.

We highly recommend the investment in a home grinder when making espresso or filter.
